 礦用錨桿（索）測力計安裝在礦巷道錨桿（錨索）外露端，對錨桿（索）的張拉力進行測量。通過監(jiān)測錨桿（索）外端受力情況，以便對錨桿（索）支護進行監(jiān)控，同時也可以監(jiān)測巖石壓力變化情況，是研究巷道峒室穩(wěn)定性不可缺少的監(jiān)測儀器。索測力計在測力鋼筒上均布著數(shù)支振弦式應(yīng)變計，當(dāng)荷載使鋼筒產(chǎn)生軸向變形時，應(yīng)變計與鋼筒產(chǎn)生同步變形，變形使應(yīng)變計的振弦產(chǎn)生應(yīng)力變化，從而改變振弦的振動頻率。電磁線圈激振振弦并測量其振動頻率，頻率信號經(jīng)電纜傳輸至讀數(shù)裝置，即可測出引起受力鋼筒變形的應(yīng)變量，代入標(biāo)定系數(shù)可算出錨索測力計所感受到的荷載值。
