模具鋼的特性  高強(qiáng)度基體鋼hastelloyc-4哈氏合金的代號為cg2，冷熱模具兼用鋼，該鋼具有高的斷裂韌性和c型沖擊韌性，它的強(qiáng)度性能較好，但該鋼退火硬度偏高，鍛造塑性較差，退火工藝和鍛造工藝要嚴(yán)格按照工藝執(zhí)行。鍛造塑性一般，該鋼采用低溫回火處理后硬度為60～62hrc，采用高溫回火處理后硬度為50～52hrc，因此可用來制作硬度要求不同的冷作、熱作模具。從cg2鋼奧氏體晶粒度隨加熱溫度升高而長大的狀況來看，一般鍛造加熱溫度允許有0～40℃范圍的波動。鍛制需反復(fù)鐓拔三次以上。該鋼熱加工工藝較難掌握，鍛造開裂傾向較為-，在熱加工時應(yīng)給予注意。
